Photoshop MC
I've learned a lot about Photoshop over the past ten years or so. Most of has been in fits and starts or in eureka moments while trying to get projects done at work. But I've rarely had the desire to sit down and actually do some Photoshop training, fundamental or otherwise. That attitude changed when I wanted to get ACE certified in 2004: I knew I needed to start learning from the ground up. Deke's videos helped.
Famous Philippine festival done the Diego Garcia way
One of the great things about living on an isolated island in the middle of the Indian Ocean is the improvisational nature of the festivals and celebrations here. The look and feel of everything is pretty much based on what you have: but Diego Garcia is not necessarily known for it's abundance of party supplies or favors. So improvise it was last Sunday as a diesel-generator equipped Ford F-150 followed a procession of two-dozen couples during the Santacruzan festival. This update is part one of three relating to the festival.
